Has achieved improved stroke dependability with directional control on moderate shots, but still lacks depth and variety. Starting to exhibit more aggressive net play, has improved court coverage and is developing teamwork in doubles.
4.0 – Advanced
Has dependable strokes, including directional control and depth on both forehand and backhand sides on moderate shots, plus the ability to use lobs, overheads, approach shots and volleys with some success. Occasionally forces errors when serving and teamwork in doubles is evident. Rallies may be lost due to impatience.

Starting to master the use of power and spins and beginning to handle pace, has sound footwork, can control depth of shots and is beginning to vary game plan according to opponents. Can hit first serves with power and accuracy and place the second serve. Tends to overhit on difficult shots. Aggressive net play is common in doubles.

The 6.5 player has extensive satellite tournament experience.

The 7.0 player makes his living from tournament prize money.

✔️ Upon registering you will be asked to choose your home court – roughly half the league matches will played at your favorite facility and the others at the opponent’s home court.
✔️ Register to participate in the Singles, Doubles, or Mixed Doubles season that is set to START in March. League play is only $20 per season (you will receive a $15 discount if you join via our links) 🙂
✔️ Choose a playing level, we encourage all players to select a level that offers good, competitive matches. Five playing levels offered: 3.0 — 3.5 — 4.0 — 4.5 — 5.0

✔️ A weekly “Flexible” schedule is provided – means you and your opponent choose the best day and time to play.
✔️ You will be allocated you in a competitive division with other players of your same level of play near you.

✔️ After each match the winner(s) enter the scores, so standings are updated.
US Tennis League will provide an umpire for the championship match, the match will be recorded and highlights will be posted on the “Champions Wall”

The top two ranked players per division automatically qualify for their EXCITING playoff action.

Which is why the US Tennis included the Grand Slam Competition where all 4 city champions in the calendar year will have a chance to compete between them and take home $500 in cash. All matches will be umpired by US Tennis League, balls will be provided and all matches will be video recorded.
